What is 5Calls?
5 Calls makes it easy for you to reach your members of Congress and make your voice heard. They research issues, write scripts that clearly articulate a progressive position, figure out the most influential decision-makers, and collect phone numbers for their offices. All you have to do is call!
How does it work?
Go to 5calls.org
In the left-hand column select an issue that is important to you
On the right, you will see a issue brief, researched and written by a real person.
Below the brief will be the representatives you should contact for this issue. Depending on the policy or bill, you may your congress person, your senators, or both.
You will see a the phone number for your representative and a script for that issue.
Bonus: Make it personal. Make a note of what you would like to add to your call, e.g. how this issue affects you and your loved ones, your concerns, or your support for the actions your representative is taking.
Itβs time to pick up the phone! If you have phone anxiety, you can call between the hours of 7pm and 7 am to leave a voicemail. Just makes sure you leave your name and full address so that your call will be tallied correctly.

Iβve heard itβs better to call than email your reps. Is that true?
The New York Times thinks so: βHereβs Why You Should Call, Not Email, Your Legislature.β (Nov 22, 2016)
